Professional Experience
​
Lisa Koo brings nearly a decade of experience in legal practice, in-house legal support, transactional matters, and supporting clients across a wide range of business-focused legal issues. As an attorney, Lisa’s practice focuses on drafting and negotiating contracts for internet-based services, including Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) agreements, AI implementation, software licenses, privacy policies, terms of use, and general technology procurement agreements.

Lisa's past experience includes work in both private practice and in-house capacity. She previously worked at a large Columbus-based firm where her work focused on commercial and employment litigation matters. Additionally, she has experience conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and settlement negotiations. Lisa’s experience in this area enables her to provide consultation support for litigated contract issues.

Lisa also served as Of Counsel to Geopetro LLC, where she focused on drafting and reviewing contracts, including confidentiality agreements and master services agreements. Lisa worked with outside counsel on purchase agreements and joint venture transactions as well. In that role, she provided guidance on legal and business matters affecting the company’s operations.
