Professional Experience

Dino Tsibouris is the founding principal of the law firm Tsibouris & Associates, LLC. His practice concentrates in the area of technology and intellectual property law with specific expertise in electronic commerce, online financial services, software licensing, Software-as-a Service ("SaaS"), and privacy law. In addition, Dino's practice includes the implementation of electronic signatures, records management, and information security.

He was previously an attorney with Thompson Hine LLP and a Vice President and Counsel for eCommerce and Technology at Bank One Corporation (now JPMorgan Chase).

Dino has conducted CLE and trade association presentations on various e-Banking and eCommerce matters, and participated in many regulatory and industry task forces addressing new legislation. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).

Representative Matters

 

• Represented financial institutions in implementation of the ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.

• Represented an auto manufacturer in moving OEM supply chain operations online.

• Conducted privacy audits and drafted privacy statements for Fortune 500 companies.

• Developed data breach response policies.

• Negotiated exclusive multi-year marketing partnership agreements for clients with Yahoo! and America Online (AOL).

• Developed comprehensive mobile messaging compliance strategy.

• Represented finance companies and loan servicers in multistate licensing matters.

• Drafted online banking agreements.

• Negotiated bank service provider agreements for credit card processing, student lending origination and servicing, and electronic payments processing.
