PRIVACY & SECURITY
Our information privacy and security practice includes incident and data breach response, data privacy and security policies and compliance, and Big Data. We help companies comply with GLBA, HIPAA/HITECH, FCRA, TCPA, state breach notification laws, and state information security laws. We also advise multinational companies regarding the California Privacy Protection Act (CCPA), EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ePrivacy Directive and Regulation, as well as other international data protection laws in North America and Asia-Pacific. We also assist our clients with developing global data privacy programs, complying with data localization laws, managing global data transfers.

We work in financial services, including online delivery of financial products, payments (credit and debit cards, ACH, stored value cards, and Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies), merchant processing, multi-state lending, compliance with state, local, federal, and international regulatory and licensing schemes, student lending, and service provider, data processing, and customer service agreements.
