Professional Experience
Dino Tsibouris is the founding principal of the law firm Tsibouris & Associates, LLC. His practice concentrates in the areas of electronic commerce, online financial services, software licensing, and privacy law. In addition, Mr. Tsibouris' practice includes the implementation of electronic signatures, records management and information security.
He was previously an attorney with Thompson Hine LLP and a Vice President and Counsel for e-Commerce and Technology at Bank One Corporation (now JPMorgan Chase).
He has conducted CLE and trade association presentations on various e-banking and e-commerce matters, and participated in many regulatory and industry task forces addressing new legislation.
Representative Matters
- Represented financial institutions in implementation of the ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
- Represented an auto manufacturer in moving OEM supply chain operations online.
- Conducted privacy audits and drafted privacy statements for Fortune 500 companies.
- Negotiated exclusive multi-year marketing partnership agreements for clients with Yahoo! and America Online (AOL).
- Developed comprehensive e-mail marketing compliance strategy.
- Represented financial institutions and corporate clients regarding treasury management services.
- Represented finance companies and loan servicers in multi-state licensing matters.
- Drafted online banking agreements.
- Negotiated bank service provider agreements for credit card processing, student lending origination and servicing, and electronic payments processing.
